It Started with a Spark

In 2018, my son Caden found a photo of two fencers in a local community magazine and brought it to me.

He had three comments:

What is this?
Are those real swords?
I’m in.

That was it.
He was all in. And before long, so were we.

What began with one child’s curiosity quickly became something much bigger. Fencing became an outlet, a passion, and a community that deeply shaped our whole family. It gave us challenge, discipline, confidence, friendships, and countless memories together.

From Creativity to Brand

In 2022, Caden began creating fencing-inspired designs for a school project. What started as artwork turned into t-shirts, ideas, and the beginning of something we couldn’t ignore.

That creative spark led to the launch of Fencing For Life in 2023—a small family business built around the sport we love and the lifestyle that comes with it.

What began as a passion project has grown into something more: a way to give back to the fencing community, create meaningful products, and build a brand rooted in authenticity, fun, and purpose.
